"The work we are doing with RP in the Ecuadorian Amazon is super important to me and to the communities. Our work together further equips them with the tools they need to continue protecting forests and biodiversity in their own ways-- and to conserve cultural identity and ancestral knowledge for future generations."

FAQ

If I applied for one position, will I be considered for others?

Regardless of the position you applied for, you may be considered for all currently open positions with a single application. We ask that you communicate as best as possible in your application what you are looking for in a volunteer opportunity and all the roles you wish to be considered for.

Can I work remotely from anywhere?

Many of our opportunities are primarily remote, but most meetings will be based on US Central Time (CST). Some opportunities will require some presence by the home office in Austin, Texas.

What is the weekly time commitment expected from our volunteers?

The recommended time commitment can vary depending on the position, typically ranging from a minimum of 5 to 40 hours. However, we prioritize meaningful contributions, so it's more about completing the tasks at hand. Highly skilled volunteers may find that even a few hours can make a significant impact.

What is it like to be a volunteer on our team?

Being a volunteer for Rainforest Partnership is an incredibly fulfilling experience in a role that helps the organization thrive and prosper. There is always work to be done in different fields and on different projects, which drives a feeling of contribution.
