Rainforest Partnership’s 8th Annual SXSW Films for the Forest screening went off without a hitch! This year’s Films for the Forest (F3) was held at the Rollins Theatre in the Long Center. We had films submitted from 5 continents and we screened 12 shorts and short shorts from 8 countries to a full house of X people, with reception to follow. We would like to congratulate the winner of the F3 JP’s Peace, Love & Happiness award, Australian filmmaker Jilli Rose, for her short film Bright Spots. Click here to watch Richard Linklater, F3 judge since inception, discussing F3 and film as a powerful medium with RP Executive Director Niyanta Spelman.
